Hi there!
I’m Daniel, a recent Design Computing graduate and creative living in Sydney. I design for the moments when we interact with products, services and people. I’m a passionately curious, friendly yet hard-working team member who is self-driven, quick to learn and willing to adapt to new environments, skills and platforms, and invest into further self-development and upskilling.
Throughout the past three years, my desire to disrupt the status quo and do what you can’t has grown immensely, and this has been unquestionably reflected through my most recent, rather controversial work (see Panic King). I’ve learnt to appreciate everything and everyone around me more - asking ‘why’ to everything I see, touch and interact with, and being able to empathise with people has become second place to me.
My semester abroad at the National University of Singapore in 2018 has allowed me to develop these skills and made me appreciate the large impact current technologies such as social media and communication services have played in shaping peoples’ lives, making the world a much more interconnected place. (A blog post about my Study Abroad experience coming soon) This eye-opening experience has definitely made me want to pursue further honing of these skills overseas in the near future.
If I am not designing, I love to do anything creative, from messing around on the piano (see me playing the piano here) to droning and editing photos and videos (see my latest videos here) - as long as I’m able to express myself, I’m happy.
I am currently looking for a full-time role in a smart team that will allow me to further nurture these skills, grow into a smarter, wiser, more collaborative designer and design and build products and services that will help people and leave the world in a better place than I entered it.
